"Waldron made a difference in my life and I now want to help make a difference for others," says Bill Kuharich, who has established The Class of 1967 Scholarship. This scholarship will provide tuition assistance to a deserving sixth, seventh or eighth grader for whom a Waldron Mercy Academy education would not otherwise be possible. The core values taught at Waldron Mercy are the same as they have been for more than 90 years. Mercy is at the center of education and the foundation for learning that inspired graduates to succeed in high school, in their choose careers, and in life. For students then and now, WMA is the trajectory for a lifelong love of learning and helping others. We appreciate Bill's classmates who have joined in this endeavor and encourage fellow classmates to make their gift today. "We believe Waldron Mercy serves as an extension of the beliefs and values that we teach in our home. We continue to support Waldron Mercy in its mission to develop well-rounded students in an academically-challenging environment within a faith-based community."

"Waldron is a second home to me. Many of my fondest memories and lifelong friends were made at Merion and then Waldron Mercy Academy. Waldron gave me so much and I’m happy to give back so others may experience the Mercy tradition. That tradition of compassion, kindness and friendship inspire me every day."
