WMA Holds 19th Annual Tigerfest Auction

More than 200 guests attended Waldron Mercy’s 19th annual Tigerfest auction in the Connelly Lyceum at Merion Mercy Academy.

Attendees at the Monopoly-inspired event raised money by bidding on a wide range of items, including one-on-one teacher experiences, gift certificates, sports tickets, and vacations to Costa Rica and an African game preserve.

Proceeds directly benefit Waldron Mercy students through academic programs, scholarships, and facility improvements. Ten percent of the proceeds are given to the school’s many outreach partners and strengthened the school’s service learning mission.

During the event, Waldron Mercy honored alumnus Harry Williamson, class of 1971. Harry is a visible presence and always very supportive of WMA. He comes from a large family with a commitment to Mercy education.
