Tigerfest is our parent-run spring auction and dinner, which raises money for capital improvements, financial aid, outreach, and faculty and staff benefits - a party with a purpose!
It is with deep appreciation for their dedication, service, generosity and loyalty to WMA that we honor Jim '85 and Christine McGovern at Tigerfest on April 5, 2025!
The McGovern family has been a wonderful part of our Waldron Mercy Academy community since Jim attended and graduated in 1985. After marrying Christine, the pair sent their 4 children (Julia ‘15, Jimmy ‘16, Ella and Mason ‘24) to WMA as well. Jim and Christine have always been behind-the-scenes volunteers, involved in everything from gift gathering and sponsorships to advertising.
Please join us to boogie the night away while supporting the McGovern’s and WMA! Proceeds from this annual, parent-run silent and live auction and dinner are used to fund our current programs and activities, which directly support our student experience.
“We are so excited to be chairing the Waldron Tigerfest Auction this year. This year's theme is ‘Boogie Nights and Disco Lights’ and is sure to be a wonderful evening of fun and fundraising. Guests will enjoy specialty drinks created by 13th Street Cocktails, music, and a delicious catered dinner. It will truly be an evening you don't want to miss. Thank you so much for your support in creating such a wonderful community and supporting Waldron Mercy Academy. We hope to see you all at Tigerfest!”
