"We believe Waldron Mercy serves as an extension of the beliefs and values that we teach in our home. We continue to support Waldron Mercy in its mission to develop well-rounded students in an academically-challenging environment within a faith-based community."
JACKIE GONDEK GIOVANONI '90
Tiger Pride Society, young alumni chair
"Waldron is a second home to me. Many of my fondest memories and lifelong friends were made at Merion and then Waldron Mercy Academy. Waldron gave me so much and I’m happy to give back so others may experience the Mercy tradition. That tradition of compassion, kindness and friendship inspire me every day."

Location is Key
Waldron Mercy is located less than 10 miles outside of Center City, Philadelphia in the suburban community of Merion Station. Our students hail from 56 different zip codes and 59% of our families live in the city of Philadelphia. We provide many travel options for our students including travel by bus provided by school districts and private van services for certain pockets of Philadelphia including Fairmount, Center City, and South Philadelphia.
Private Van Services
Our families use Precious Cargo private van service transports from South Philadelphia, Fairmount and Center City. If you are interested in these services or for any questions about pricing, please contact Amelia and John Fogarino at 215-463-5489 (H) or 215-480-0800 (C).
Travel by Bus
About half of our students travel by buses provided by the school districts. At dismissal, most buses leave school by 3:15 p.m. Some districts require the students to stop at other schools and change buses. Philadelphia, Springfield and Marple Newtown School Districts do NOT provide transportation for the pre‐k or kindergarten students. Detailed information can be provided from your school district.
